The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant them pay scale and allowances as per Punjab State Elementary Education (Teaching Cadre) Group-C Service Rules, 2018 i.e. Rs.10300-34800 + Rs.4200 Grade Pay, initial pay: Rs.16290/-, along with all allowances applicable under the 5th Punjab Pay Scale Matrix, with further revisions, in view of the judgment of this Court in CWP-15896-2023 titled as ‘Saurabh Sharma and others Vs. State of Punjab and another’ decided on 13.09.2024 and instructions dated 05.01.2026 as well as for payment of arrears of salary along with interest. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal of their grievances, the petitioners have also served legal notice dat
