Instant petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for quashing the speaking order dated 25.10.2024 (Annexure P-9), passed by the Department of School Education, Government of Punjab, whereby claim of the similarly situated candidates, including the petitioners has been rejected. Further prayer has been made for directing the respondents to consider the petitioners for appointment to the posts of Elementary Trained Teacher (ETT) out of 2364 advertised posts in terms of advertisement dated 06.03.2020 (Annexure P-1), by treating them as eligible candidates and considering them in accordance with their merit position as per the subsequent merit lists issued by the Department and further directing the respondents to conduct counselling forthwith and include the petitioners in the ongoing RAVINDER
