Petitioners herein seek quashing of FIR No. 0161/2025 dated 07.02.2025, registered at Police Station Kalandi Kunj, Delhi, for commission of offences under Sections 290/125 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 (corresponding Sections 288/336 IPC), along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise arrived at between the parties. 2. The abovesaid FIR was registered on the basis of statement made by Shakeel (respondent No.2 herein). He is resident of A-26, Near Makki Masjid Part-III, Madanpur Khadar, New Delhi and on the left side of his house, there was a vacant plot where construction was going on. During such construction, when the basement was dug in the abovesaid vacant plot, the foundation of the house of the complainant got exposed. On account of the abovesaid negligent manner in which the construction was being raised, the left side wall of his house also collapsed.
