The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking direction to respondents to pay her compensation on account of death of his brother by electrocution. 2. Petitioner’s brother on 20.03.2023 came in contact with a live wire that had fallen on the road which resulted in his death. A complaint in this regard was lodged with Police Station. She is claiming compensation. As per notification dated 08.07.2019, there is a strict liability of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (for short ‘Corporation’) in case of fatal accident.
