(ORAL) 1. The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the interest @ 18% per annum on the delayed payment of retiral benefits of the petitioner from the date of her retirement i.e. 30.09.2020 till the date of actual payment along with any remaining principal amount in compliance with the order dated 20.04.2024 (Annexure P-1) passed by this Court. 2. At the outset, learned counsel appearing for respondent No.4 submits that the entire retiral dues of the petitioner have already been released and that interest on account of delayed payment (calculated from two months after the date of retirement), shall also be released @ 6% per annum, within a period of four weeks.
