Through the instant writ petition, a challenge has been laid to the order dated 12.03.2026 passed by the respondent No.2- Sub-Divisional Magistrate-cum-Maintenance Tribunal, under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (hereinafter referred to as the ‘Act of 2007’). 2. The impugned order is appealable under Section 16 of the Act of 2007, however, no statutory appeal has been filed thereagainst. Therefore, the instant writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file the statutory appeal.
