Through the instant writ petition, cast under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, a prayer is made for issuance of mandamus, upon the respondents No.2 and 3, to permit the petitioner to appear in the upcoming UGC-NET Examination (June Session), while wearing a spinal brace belt around her waist. Further prayer is made to allot the examination centre at Chandigarh, and make suitable arrangements for her to write the examination on the ground floor. 2. The reasons, which are spelled out in the instant writ petition are that the petitioner has recently underwent treatment for spinal tuberculosis.
