The present petition has been filed under Section 482 BNSS, 2023, for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.45, dated 20.02.2026, under Sections 118(1), 115(2), 3(5) BNS and 117(2) BNS added later on, registered at Police Station Sadar Jalandhar, District Jalandhar. 2. On 24.04.2026, this Court had passed the following order:- “Learned counsel submits that the injury attributed to the petitioner, aged 19 years, has been declared simple in nature, for which the reference is made to MLR, Annexure P-2. He is not involved in any other case and is ready and willing to join the investigation as and when required by the investigating agency and will cooperate. Notice of motion. At the asking of the Court, Mr. Manipal Singh Atwal, DAG Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State. Meanwhile, the petitioner is directed to join the investi
