Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for directing respondents No.2 and 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of respondents no.4 to 6. Further prayer has been made for directing the respondents not to harass or interfere at the instance of private respondents who are annoyed from marriage (wrongly mentioned as live-in-relationship) of the petitioners. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that both the petitioners are major as per Mohammedan Law which allows a boy aged above 18 years to be treated as major for the purpose of marriage. Both the petitioners have married against the wishes of respondents no.4 to 6 and have sought protection to their life and liberty. They apprehend danger from respondents no.4 to 6.
