The instant petition under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (erstwhile Section 438 Cr.P.C.) has been filed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No.16 dated 11.03.2026 registered under Section 333 (old Section 452 IPC), 115(2) (old Section 323 IPC), 190 (old Section 141 IPC), 191(3) (old Section 148 IPC), 351(2) (old Section 506 IPC) of BNS, 2023 (Section 117(2) of BNS, 2023 added later on) at Police Station Begowal, District Kapurthala. 2. This Court vide order dated 16.04.2026 granted the concession of interim bail to the petitioner, subject to his joining the investigation. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in pursuance to the order dated 16.04.2026, the petitioner has joined the investigation. 4.
