The prayer in the present petition under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 is for the issuance of directions to respondents No.2 and 3 to conduct a free, fair and impartial investigation in FIR No.266 dated 03.11.2023 registered under Sections 420, 465, 467, 468 and 471 of IPC at Police Station Division No.5, Police Commissionerate, Ludhiana. 2. The learned State counsel, at the very outset, submits that there is only one accused namely Rajinder Pal Singh @ Rajan Chawla, who has passed away on 28.05.2024 and a closure report shall be submitted within a period of 04 weeks. 3. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed by this Court, at this stage. 4. Disposed of. 5. All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, stand disposed of.
