EK AWARD OF LOK ADALAT BENCH NO.5 The appeal stands settled at Rs.5,60,000/-over and above the amount already awarded by the learned Tribunal in terms of proposal form dated 18.05.2026 duly signed by both the parties. Accordingly, this award is made with the direction to the Insurance Company to deposit the enhanced amount of Rs.5,60,000/- (Rupees Five Lakhs Sixty Thousands Only) by cheque/draft, in favour of appellant No.1-Ravinder Malik with the Office of the Lok Adalat of the High Court within a period of 8 weeks of this order. Failing compliance of the order, interest @ 9% per annum shall follow on this amount till payment from the date of this order. The appellants' counsel may collect the cheque/draft from the office of the Lok Adalat. The office shall retain the pho- tocopies of the cheque/draft bearing signatures of the Counsel. Appeal stands disposed of in terms of the settlement.
