In the present writ petition, the petitioner(s) is praying for issuance of a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the appeal dated 02.06.2025 (Annexure P-7) filed by the petitioner against the order dated 09.10.2024 (Annexure P-5) whereby the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) has been rejected. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner was eligible for promotion on the post of Junior Engineer (Civil) as the petitioner had requisite three years’ service as Junior Draftsman. Learned counsel submits that the case of the petitioner was considered for promotion, however, the respondents have rejected the claim of the petitioner on the ground that the petitioner does not possess three years’ experience as a Junior Draftsman (Civil
