The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioners for appointment to the post of Agriculture Sub Inspector against the available vacancies arising out of Advertisement No.18/2022, including those remaining unfilled and those arising due to subsequent resignations; to fill up all the available vacancies in a fair, transparent and non-arbitrary manner, by duly considering eligible candidates from the existing merit list; and to disclose the category-wise status of the vacant posts and to take a decision in accordance with the applicable reservation policy, including carry forward and de- reservation rules. Further, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari for quashing the arbit
