This is the first petition under Section 483 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (corresponding to Section 439 of Cr.P.C) for the grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No. 183 dated 19.06.2025 under Section 15-C of NDPS Act 1985 (section 27-A of NDPS Act 1985 was added later on) registered at Police Station Bhuna, District Fatehabad, Haryana. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner was arrayed as an accused in the instant FIR solely on the basis of the disclosure statement made by co-accused Subhash Chand, from whose possession, the alleged contraband i.e. 66 kg 20 grams of poppy husk, was recovered.
