The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for modification of the orders dated 30.09.2014 (Annexures P-2 and P-3), whereby the services of the petitioners were regularized with effect from 01.10.2013 instead of 01.10.2003. 2. Petitioners No.1 to 3 were initially engaged on daily wage basis in the year 1993, whereas petitioners No.4 and 5 were engaged in the year 1992. All the petitioners have been performing duties as Beldars. However, their services came to be terminated on 01.04.1996 and 02.04.1996 respectively, compelling them to raise industrial disputes.
