The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari for quashing the order dated 08.05.2026 (P-8), whereby the petitioner has been transferred to Phagwara Block without any exigency of any administrative ground. Further, it has been prayed that respondent No.3 be directed to release him the salary from October, 2025 onwards. 2. On the last date of hearing, i.e., 25.05.2026, the following order was passed: “On receipt of advance copy of the petition, Mr. Surya Kumar, A.A.G., Punjab has put in appearance on behalf of the respondents-State and seeks some time to get instructions with regard to the release of the salary of the petitioner which has been withheld from the last 07 months
