Prayer made in the present petition filed under Section 528 BNSS for quashing of FIR No.183 dated 02.08.2025, registered under Section 209 BNS (174-A IPC) at Police Station City 1, Abohar, District Fazilka and all the consequential proceedings arising therefrom. 2. Learned counsel contends that the petitioner was summoned in a complaint filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, wherein, he was never served with any notice/warrants, as such he could not appear before the Court concerned. Consequently, he was declared a proclaimed person in the complaint, whereupon the FIR impugned in the present petition was registered. During the interregnum, the matter has been compromised/settled and the complaint itself was dismissed as withdrawn, vide order dated 09.05.2026. Thus, the submission made is that continuation of the present proceeding
