1. The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction to respondent Nos.3 to 6 to protect life and liberty of the petitioners at the hands of private respondents, as they have attained majority and married against the wishes of their family members. 2. Learned counsel states that the petitioners will be satisfied if the Senior Superintendent of Police, Tarn Taran i.e. respondent No.3 is directed to look into the representations dated 13.05.2025 (Annexure P-5), made to him by them and take appropriate action on the same. 3. As per the averments made, both the petitioners are major and their dates of birth are 01.01.2006 and 15.01.2001, respectively. The copies of their Aadhar cards are appended as Annexures P-1 and P-2, respectively. They got married on 13.05.2025 and the Marriage Certificate is enclosed with the petition as Annexure P-3. 4.
