The petitioners through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India are seeking direction to respondents to pay them compensation on account of death of their son by electrocution. 2. Petitioners’ son on 29.07.2025 came in contact with a live wire lying open in the vicinity of the Village Dharamkot District Yamuna Nagar, Haryana. He was taken to Krishna Hospital Bilaspur from where he was referred to Gaba Hospital where doctor after examining declared him dead. An FIR No. 229 dated 30.07.2025 in this regard was lodged with the Police Station Bilaspur. They are claiming compensation. As per notification dated 08.07.2019, there is a strict liability of Uttar Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (for short ‘Corporation’)
