Present civil revision petition has been preferred under Article 227 of the Constitution of India by the petitioner submitting that the suit was filed on 19.09.2018; however, thereafter, the proceedings have progressed at a slow pace. That respondent-defendant No. 7 has taken more than four years to file the written statement, and now the case is fixed for the petitioner-plaintiff’s evidence. The stay application under Order XXXIX Rules 1 and 2 read with Section 151 CPC, 1908 filed along with the suit on 19.09.2018 (Annexure P-2), still remains undecided. He prays that the said application as well as the suit be decided expeditiously. 2. I find merit in the contentions raised on behalf of the plaintiff- petitioner. Admittedly, the suit was instituted in the year 2018 and has now reached the stage of petitioner-plaintiff’s evidence, whereas the stay application filed along with the s
