The same is purported to have been passed in deference of the order dated 22.09.2025 passed by the Writ Court in CWP-28391-2025. [2] Counsel for the petitioner, however, submits that the order has not been passed in the light of the judgment rendered in ‘Harbans Lal versus State of Punjab and others’, CWP-2371-2010 rather in the teeth of the same. [3] In view of the above, the present contempt petition is disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to seek revival of the same, if need so arises.
