The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of certiorari for setting aside the merit list dated 28.04.2026 (Annexure P- 6) as it has been prepared in a perverse and illegal manner, denying the petitioner his merit as per his score in the examination conducted. Further, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to permit the petitioner to join and participate in the counselling. 2. After arguing the case for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to first approach the competent authority for redressal of his grievances. 3.
