The jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been invoked for issuance of a Writ in the nature of Habeas Corpus to search and produce detenue-Chahat, major daughter of the petitioner, who has been illegally kidnapped/detained by respondents No.4 to 6. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that daughter of the petitioner had gone for interview on 14.05.2026 and never came back home. Thereafter, petitioner has given a missing complaint and got DDR No. 13 dated 15.05.2026 registered. 3. On notice of motion having been issued on 27.05,2026, State counsel has accepted notice on behalf of the official respondents whereas notice was issued to private respondents No. 4 to 6 to produce the detenue on the date fixed.
