The present petition has been filed under Section 528 BNSS for quashing of FIR No. 172 dated 27.06.2019 under Sections 341, 323, 325, 506, 148, 149 and 120-B of IPC (Section 379-B of IPC added later on) registered at Police Station Sadar Dhuri, District Sangrur and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-2). 2. This Court vide order dated 11.02.2026 had directed the parties to appear before the trial Court to get their statements recorded and the learned Magistrate was directed to send its report qua the genuineness of the compromise. 3.
