Ms. Ruchika Sabherwal, Sr. DAG, Punjab. *** MANISHA BATRA, J (ORAL):- The present petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking quashing of order dated 16.07.2025 passed by the court of Additional Sessions Judge, Jalandhar in case arising out of FIR No. 62 dated 09.06.2023 registered under Section 18 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short, ‘NDPS Act’) at Police Station Basti Bawa Khel, Jalandhar, whereby his bail was cancelled; bonds were forfeited to the State and non-bailable warrants were ordered to be issued against him. Now the trial Court has passed order for fresh warrants and the case is fixed for 11.09.2026. 2. It is argued by learned counsel for the petitioner that he had been extended benefit of regular bail by the trial Court on 10.08.2023. Challan was presented in this case only on 21.01.2025.
