The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari, for quashing the notification dated 30.04.2026 (Annexure P- 9), issued by respondent No.3 to the extent of point No.29 of the duty list of Veterinary Inspectors, whereby the duty of 'online data entry of various reports and vaccination details pertaining to their respective institution on the concerned portal of the Government of India and the State Government', has been illegally assigned to Veterinary Inspectors in contravention of Section 30 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act, 1984 and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for vaccination against foot and mouth disease dated 31.12.2025 (Annexure P-7), issued by respondent No.1.
