The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant them statutory pay scale as per the Revised Pay Scale Rules, 2009 i.e. 10300-34800 + Rs.3200/- Grade Pay, vide letter dated 15.12.2011 (Annexures P-5 & P-6) from entry into service along with arrears @ 12% per annum by extending them the benefit of judgment of this Court in CWP-15896-2023 titled as ‘Saurabh Sharma and others Vs. State of Punjab and others’ decided on 13.09.2024. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that for redressal of their grievances, the petitioners have also served legal notice dated 16.04.2026 (Annexure P-8) to the respondents, which is still pending consideration. He further submits that at this stage, the petitioner
