The petitioners have filed the instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the petitioners the minimum of the pay scale i.e. basic pay + dearness allowance as revised from time to time at par with their regular counterparts instead of fixed consolidated salary from the date(s) of their initial appointment(s) with consequential arrears along with interest @ 18% per annum. 2. After arguing the case for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioners wishes to withdraw the instant petition with liberty to the petitioners to first approach the competent authority for redressal of their grievances. 3.
