(Oral) The petition has been filed inter alia seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant one increment to the petitioner on promotion as Head Teacher from the post of JBT Teacher as provided under Rule 4.4.(c) of CSR Vol.I, Part-I. 2. Learned State counsel submitted, since the petitioners were already drawing the pay of promotional post prior to their promotion as Head Teacher, they could not be granted any additional benefit on actual promotion. This is in terms of law laid down in State of Haryana and another v. Partap Singh and others, 2006(10) SCC 251. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners is unable to dispute these facts. 4.
