At this stage, Mr. Rahul Verma, Advocate, and Mr. Nirmaljit Singh Diwana, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, appear on behalf of respondents No.1 and 4 and respondent-State, respectively, in pursuance of the advance copies of paper book having already been supplied to them. 4. Learned counsel for respondents No.1 and 4 submits that as on date, no application of the petitioner, seeking issuance of passport, is pending consideration before the passport authorities. However, he submits that in case the petitioner submits a fresh application under the category of “Re-issuance of Passport”, along with all requisite documents and information, the same shall be considered and decided by the concerned passport authority (as the circumstances may warrant) within a period of eight weeks from the date of submission of such application, in accordance with law. 5. Keeping in view the aforesaid submissions made by learned counsel for respondents No.1 and 4, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition and the same is, accordingly,
