The present petition has been filed for issuance of direction to respondent No.1 to declare the vote casted by the petitioner as “valid” in the Rajya Sabha election held on 16.03.2026, which was declared as ‘invalid’. 2. After arguing for some time, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that even if the present writ petition is allowed, the outcome of the election will not change. Hence, the present petition may kindly be disposed of having been not pressed any further with liberty to avail any other appropriate remedy available to the petitioner. 3. Ordered accordingly.
