(Oral) In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to grant the benefit of Old Pension Scheme to the petitioner by counting his entire service from the date of initial appointment in the year 1997, in light of the Government notification dated 28.05.2025 (Annexure P-2). 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that he will be satisfied if, at this stage, a direction is given to respondent No.2 to decide the legal notice dated 05.08.2025 (Annexure P-5) served by the petitioner in a time-bound manner. 3.
