The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023 for quashing of FIR No.7 dated 22.01.2019, under Sections 341, 323, 506 34 of IPC (Sections 325, 148, 149 and 201 IPC added later on) at Police Station Naya Gaon, District SAS Nagar Mohali (Annexure P-1) along with all consequential proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 16.01.2026 (Annexure P-5). 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the FIR is outcome of an unfortunate accident. It is submitted that the dispute between the parties has now been resolved and with the intervention of the respectables of the Society, the matter has indeed been compromised.
