(Oral) 1 Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing the official respondents to act as per Section 87(1) of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 and to allow petitioner No. 1 (Palwinder Kaur) to work as an Authorized Panch of Village Khawaspur, Block Khandur Sahib, District Tarn Taran, as per the resolution passed by the Gram Panchayat in majority dated 29.07.2025 (Annexure P-7), due to suspension of the Sarpanch of Village Khawaspur, Block Khandur Sahib, District Tarn Taran. 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to avail their other remedies in terms of Section 22 of the Punjab Panchayati Raj Act, 1994, in accordance with law. 3.
