(Oral) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking a writ of certiorari quashing the office order dated 23.10.2001, Annexure P-8, whereby the petitioner’s claim for appointment as Physical Training Instructor (PTI) under Ex-Servicemen (ESM) quota posts against advertisement 03/1999, published on 14.11.1999, has been rejected. Further, a writ of mandamus has been sought directing the respondents to fill up the said posts in accordance with the Government instructions dated 14.07.2000, Annexure P-3. 2.
