The present contempt petition has been filed alleging violation of order dated 05.01.2023 (Annexure P-2) passed by the Predecessor Bench in CRM-M-55184-2022, titled as ‘Netar Singh vs. State of Punjab and others’ whereby the respondent-Senior Superintendent of Police, Rupnagar, was directed to decide the representation dated 11.10.2022 (Annexure P-1 in this petition) submitted by the petitioner expeditiously in accordance with law. 2.
