Through the instant writ petition, the petitioner has assailed the ex parte interim order dated 26.11.2025 passed by the Maintenance Tribunal in proceedings instituted by respondent No.3, a senior citizen, under the provisions of the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007 (hereinafter referred to as “the Act of 2007”). 2. What emerges from a perusal of the record is that the original application preferred by respondent No.3 under the Act of 2007 has been pending adjudication since 24.11.2025. It further transpires that, subsequent to the institution of the original application, several miscellaneous applications came to be filed by both the petitioner and respondent No.3, some of which are still pending consideration. 3.
