This petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking regular bail under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, in case FIR No.0030 dated 24.02.2021 registered under Sections 21(c), 25 and 29 of the NDPS Act, 1985 and Section 25 of the Arms Act at Police Station Special Task Force (STF Wing), S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali. 2. The case of the prosecution is that on the basis of a secret information, the petitioner along with his co-accused was apprehended while travelling in a Verna car bearing registration No. PB-02-EA-1983. Upon search of the said vehicle, 320 grams of heroin was allegedly recovered from the arm- rest cup holder situated on the rear seat of the car.
