This is a petition under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 (under Section 438 Cr.P.C.) for the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in FIR No. 82 dated 25.03.2026, registered under Sections 21, 27-A, 29, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Ajnala, District Amritsar. 2. This Court, vide order dated 21.04.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.). 3.
