(Oral) 1 Petition herein is, inter alia, seeking a writ in the nature of Mandamus, for directing the respondent No.2 – Regional Passport Officer, Chandigarh, to renew the passport of the petitioner in accordance with law, as the application filed by the petitioner for renewal of the passport has been dismissed by respondent No.2 vide letter dated 11.12.2025 (Annexure P-1). 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedy of appeal against the order/letter dated 11.12.2025 (Annexure P-1), whereby the application for seeking renewal/issuance of the passport has been rejected, in accordance with law. 3. Ordered accordingly. 4. All the pending application(s), if any, shall also
