The present petition has been filed by the petitioner under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of certiorari for quashing the impugned order dated 20.04.2026 (Annexure P-1), whereby respondent No.5 has been promoted from the post of Assistant Professor (Physiology) to Associate Professor (Physiology). Further, a writ of mandamus has been sought for directing the respondents to promote the petitioner as Associate Professor with effect from the date her juniors have been promoted along with all consequential benefits. 2.
