(Oral) The petitioners namely Navjot Kaur and Kehar Singh have approached this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for seeking protection of their lives and personal liberty from private respondents. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners inter alia contends that the petitioners are major and are staying together in a live in relationship. However, their relationship is not acceptable to the private respondents and as a result thereof, the private respondents are threatening the petitioners. A representation dated 12.05.2026 (Annexure P-3) against the threat extended at the hands of the private respondents already stands submitted by the petitioners to the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar, District Amritsar as well as to the Station House Officer, Police Station Jandiala Guru, District VISHAL SHARMA 2026.05.1
