(Oral) In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 to take a decision on the application submitted by the petitioner vide acknowledgment receipt dated 09.03.2026 (Annexure P-1) for issuance of an arms license. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner had submitted an application vide acknowledgment receipt dated 09.03.2026 (Annexure P-1) for grant of an arms license. He further submits that although the case of the petitioner has been sent to the Police Authorities for verification, however, no decision thereon has been taken by respondent No.2 till date. The petitioner had also submitted a representation dated 20.03.2026 (Annexure P-4) before respondent No.2. 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner
