The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus seeking directions to release the LTC budget of the petitioners for Block Year 2013 to 2016 (petitioner No.9) and 2020 to 2023 as per demand sent by respondents No. 4 to 8. 2. Brief facts of the case are that the petitioners are employees of the Forest Department, Haryana. Petitioner No. 10 has retired, while Petitioner Nos. 8 and 9 have since been transferred from their earlier places of posting. Under the applicable policies of the Government of Haryana, the petitioners are entitled to Leave Travel Concession (LTC) for Block Year 2020-2023. However, despite fulfilling all requisite conditions, their LTC claims have not been released. AN
