This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of habeas corpus directing the official respondents No.1 to 3 for the release of the alleged detenue(s), namely, Aarohi and Aayansh, who are stated to be in illegal custody of respondents No.4 & 5. 2. In compliance of the order dated 02.05.2026, the alleged detenues are present in the Court today. The petitioner is the mother of the alleged detenues. Aarohi (girl child) is approximately 12 years of age and Aayansh (boy child), is approximately 5 years of age. After interaction with the alleged detenues, this Court deemed it appropriate to send them for counselling.
