This petition has been filed under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 (erstwhile Section 438 Cr.P.C.) for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.0002 dated 04.01.2026 registered against him, for commission of offences punishable u/s 103(1), 127(2), 191(3), 190 BNS (Sections 61(2) and 238 BNS added later on) at P.S. Narot Jaimal Singh, District Pathankot. 2. A Coordinate Bench of this Court, vide order dated 16.03.2026, had directed the petitioner to appear before the SHO/Investigating Officer and join investigation and in the event of his arrest, he was ordered to be released on interim bail to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating Officer, subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 482(2) of the BNSS (erstwhile Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.). 3.
