By way of filing this petition, petitioners seek protection of their lives and personal liberty, in view of the fact that they have not solemnized their marriage so far and are living in a live-in relationship and are under eminent threat at the hands of private respondents. 2. Petitioner No.1 is already married to respondent No.4 and from the said wedlock, two children were born and are stated to be residing with respondent No.4. Whereas, petitioner No.2 is, namely, Mehtab, is a widower, who was earlier married to one Mumtaz, who expired on 23.02.2021. 3.
