In the present writ petition, the petitioner is praying for issuance of a direction to the respondents to consider his case for grant of arms licence in pursuance of the application filed by the petitioner dated 18.04.2025 (Annexure P-1). 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has submitted an application for grant of arms licence on 18.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) and no decision has been taken till date. Learned counsel on instructions from the petitioner, submits that at this stage, the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is given to respondent No.2 to take decision on the application dated 18.04.2025 (Annexure P-1), submitted by the petitioner, in a time bound manner. 3.
