This petition has been filed raising the grievance that the respondent – Chandigarh Administration while granting admission in medical colleges is allowing OBC reservation to such candidates who have migrated from other States. Reliance is placed on the notification issued by the Chandigarh Administration dated 04.09.2024, which records that for cases of migration, the benefit of OBC would be restricted to the parent State to which candidate belongs.
